Nativity Logo

I was asked to create a black and white Nativity logo with the theme "O Holy Night," and I came up with a few different ones. I'm having trouble deciding what I like so I'm putting them out there for some hopefully constructive criticism. It's supposed to be simple, and the black and white can be reversed (black background, white lines, like having the figures in a solid black manger shape, or star, or something), and a star can be added to any of them. This is the order I drew them in, and if nothing else, I find it interesting how my style changes from traditional, to minimalist, then back to traditional with a minimalist flair. Fun, huh? Ha ha ha! I'm going to submit my final pictures later on this week. (It's for church and they've got a few other people designing logos too, so chances are they'll pick someone with far superior skills and creativity, but here's what the Nativity in my brain looks like)

Traditional Nativity:

Line Drawing, Nativity

Line Drawing 2, Nativity

Heart-Shaped Nativity

Heart Shaped Nativity 2

Layered Nativity
(I'm not a huge fan of this one since I feel like I've seen it everywhere even though I like the way it looks, it seems so common)

Thoughts?

These are so beautiful. I love the elegant simplicity. I used the first one on a card I made for our priest. http://jessica-createandshare.blogspot.com/2012/12/christmas-crafting.html

My name Dalme'Retief I was searching for a nativity picture on the internet because I was getting very upset because people are celebrating Christmas without Christ Jesus to bring the emphasis back to Jesus I want to make Christmas decorations for family, friends and myself as we have nothing to buy about Jesus in our shops. I found your drawings. May I please use them?

Found these while searching for a nativity silhouette to use for an upcoming sermon series "Christmas: Revealing the Heart of God." I like them all but Heart Shaped Nativity 2 is a perfect fit. May I use it for my bulletins and in my powerpoint presentations for this series? Thank you!

Love the simplicity of your drawings. I know that you have said that it was ok for others to use these... but I felt like I still should check with you if you are still getting these messages. I would like to use an image on a Christmas banner for our church.

I came across your designs and they looked fantastic! I wanted to know if it was ok to use the last design that you thought was ordinary. I believe it it perfect to use for an idea in VBS.
